Who we are

madeonmerit.com is operated by 1529220 B.C. Ltd., doing business as Made on Merit, from British Columbia, Canada. Privacy questions reach a person at hello@madeonmerit.com.

What we collect

We collect what you give us: your name, email address, and whatever you write when you submit a form, register for a session, book a conversation, or email us. If you sign in, we receive basic profile details from your Google account (name, email, picture). Our infrastructure keeps standard server logs and bot-protection signals for security.

The Field Notes list

The newsletter is double opt-in: subscribing sends a confirmation email, and no list mail goes out until you click it. Every list email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. We record when you subscribed and confirmed so your consent has a timestamp.

How we use information

To respond to you, run registrations and bookings, deliver engagements, send the mail you asked for, and keep the site secure. We do not sell personal information, and we do not run advertising or cross-site tracking.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses essential cookies only (for example, keeping you signed in). Our analytics are first-party and cookieless: no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers.

Service providers

We rely on a small set of processors to run the site: Cloudflare (hosting, storage, security, and the Turnstile bot check), Google (sign-in, and Gmail for delivering the email we send you), and Stripe (payment processing where a payment is made). Each receives only what its job requires.

Client business data

Data belonging to a partner business inside an engagement is governed by that engagement's signed agreement. We do not use a client's business data to train machine-learning models without agreement.

Access and removal

Write to hello@madeonmerit.com to ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it removed. Unsubscribing from mail is faster still: the link is in every email.
