Terms of Service

Last updated: September 6, 2026

Who we are

madeonmerit.com is operated by 1529220 B.C. Ltd., doing business as Made on Merit, from British Columbia, Canada. Questions about these terms reach a person at hello@madeonmerit.com.

What this site is

Made on Merit provides education and partnership-based implementation services for businesses: written material (Field Notes), live sessions (the Operating Model Briefing), and partnership engagements. Content on this site is provided for general information. It is not legal, financial, or professional advice, and reading it does not create a client relationship.

Partnership engagements

Any paid engagement is governed by a written agreement signed by both parties. That agreement, not this page, defines scope, fees, timelines, and responsibilities. Nothing on this site is an offer of guaranteed business results, and no guarantee applies unless one is stated in a signed agreement.

Registrations and bookings

When you register for a session or book a conversation, we use the details you provide to run that registration or booking, including sending you the emails it requires (confirmations, reminders, changes).

Accounts

Some areas of the site require signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for activity under your session. We may suspend access that abuses the service or attempts to break it.

Payments

Where a payment is made through this site, it is processed by Stripe. Amounts, refund rights, and payment schedules for an engagement are set in its signed agreement.

Content and use

The content of this site belongs to Made on Merit or its licensors. You may read, link, and quote with attribution; do not republish substantial portions or misrepresent the source. Do not attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems.

Disclaimer and limitation

The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the same extent, Made on Merit is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site itself. Liability under a partnership engagement is addressed in its signed agreement.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do. Material changes to how an active engagement is governed are made in the engagement agreement, not here.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
